Vit Stix for Dogs

Team Stix are so excited to announce the launch of our new product! Vit Stix for Dogs available in 3 delicious flavours! Simply tear and add to their evening meal or tear and add to their water to make them a doglicious gravy.

We have had lots of questions over the last 6 months from Stix fans who love going out and exercising with their canine friend but want to know how best to keep them fit and healthy. So, we decided to do some research and see if Stix could help out. After speaking to the Royal Veterinary Collage* and the American Kennel Club* it transpired that we already had a perfect product to boost our loyal friends’ diet, we just needed to change the flavours.

Vitamins are a key part of the canine diet and with a lot of cheap pet foods out there our furry friends are not getting what they need. Read below to see how the key vitamins in Vit Stix FOR DOGS will boost your dog’s health and have them taking you out for a walk.

B Vitamins

B5 and B12 play a vital role in your dog’s ability break down sugars from their diet and facilitates enzyme function. If your POOCH is ever looking a bit lethargic then these vitamins will have them bounding round the block in no time. B6 is vitally important for glucose generation, red blood cell and nervous system function, hormone regulation, immune response, niacin synthesis, and gene activation. If you want to stop your doggy pal from getting ill B6 is vital.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is an important antioxidant. It scavenges potentially harmful free radicals (chemicals breathed in from pollution so this is particularly important if you live in an urban area) in the body and can help reduce inflammation and cognitive aging. Dogs can actually synthesize vitamin C on their own in their livers unlike humans, but it has been shown that supplementation may offer health benefits.

Vitamin D - for walkies

Vitamin D, or the “sunshine vitamin,” allows your dog’s body to balance minerals like phosphorous and calcium for healthy bone growth. Without it, your dog would not be able to develop properly or maintain healthy muscles and bones to keep them fit and healthy on long walks. Vitamin D also helps prevent those older POOCHES from developing arthritis.

Zinc benefits

Now I am going to be honest Zinc is not essential for the overall health of dogs. But, rather like giving them a raw egg from time to time, it can do wonders for the coat. Adding zinc into Vit Stix for Dogs will have your dogs’ coat shimmering in no time.

We are so excited for Vit Stix for dogs and we hope you are to? They are being released in 3 flavours to start with; Duck, Turkey and Lamb which I am sure will have all their tails wagging.

P.S this product is not suitable for cats or any other pets (please don’t try and feed it to the hamster).
